Carrion from Phobia Game Studios and Devolver Digital was released on July 23 and has sold 200,000 copies since its release. Devolver Digital also revealed that Carrion has “hundreds of thousands” of players through Xbox Game Pass. Not bad for a genre title.
It is a reverse horror game in which you assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origin. Stalk and consume those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility. Players can grow and evolve as they tear down the prison and acquire more and more devastating abilities on the path to retribution.
Carrion is available now on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and through Xbox Game Pass. It is also worth mentioning that it is DRM-Free as well.
