Last week, we let you know that Borderlands 2 would be receiving a new DLC to bridge the gap between it and the upcoming sequel, Borderlands 3. To cement that rumor, Steam has jumped the gun and revealed the store page for Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary DLC for everyone to see.

Return to the award winning shooter-looter for a new adventure that sets the stage for the upcoming Borderlands 3. Fight new bosses, explore new zones, get new loot (including an entirely new tier beyond Legendary) and join up with Lilith and the Crimson Raiders to take on a deranged villain hell-bent on ruling the planet
Returning players can pursue an increased level cap of 80, while newcomers can automatically boost to level 30 and dive straight into the action.
According to these, the DLC will drop on June 9, probably as a free download for owners of Borderlands 2.
If you are planning to visit Pandora for the first time, Borderlands 2: The Handsome Collection is currently free for Playstation Plus users and it’s as cheap as it’s ever been on Steam.
