As many have predicted over the years, Bethesda is finally shutting down its not-so-loved about Bethesda Launcher. Thankfully, Bethesda is not being a sore loser and is letting the users keep all of their stuff. Starting in April, users will be able to migrate all their games, save data as well as their wallet to Steam. Players have until May to transfer all their data to Steam before Bethesda Launcher is shut down for good. Starting in May, users will no longer be able to play and access your games within the Bethesda.net Launcher.
As for save data, some saves will automatically transfer, however some will require you to manually copy them to your Steam folder. Betheda currently expect almost all save progress to be transferable automatically or manually with the exception of Wolfenstein: Youngblood, which currently is unable to transfer (not that anyone cares for that game anyways). Virtual currency balances and game add-ons such as DLC and in-game skins will automatically transfer.
Sadly enough, Bethesda.net accounts are not going away anytime soon and players will need to use their accounts to successfully complete the migration process.
