Bioware’s upcoming Destiny-like action game Anthem received a lot of flak for its depiction of damage output as huge, floating digits. We feel the same too, as the size of the indicators are too big and is quite distracting.

While it fits in an ARPG like Diablo or Grim Dawn, it’s frankly out of place in Anthem. But no worries, you’ll be able to turn them off. In a tweet last night, Anthem’s game director, Mark Darrah, responded to what he says was the “most common question of all,” revealing that you can simply turn off the floaties if you’d rather not see them.

You can also scale down the floaties’ size and opacity to suit your needs. Might come in handy when comparing the DPS of different gears and abilities.

Anthem releases on February 22, 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
