Face the Master of the Soul Forges on Oct. 14 – Switch 2 version also revealed, confirmed for later this year

Auroch Digital and Big Fan Games released a brand new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 today showcasing the first footage of the game’s main antagonist, Vashtorr, daemonic demigod of inventors, engineers, scientists and artisans, and revealed the highly anticipated release date on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for Oct. 14. Auroch Digital and Big Fan have also announced Warhammer 40:000 Boltgun 2 will launch on Nintendo Switch 2, shortly after its Oct. 14 debut on other platforms
Today’s release date trailer absolutely shreds with a first-listen teaser of the original musical track created for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 by guest composer Mick Gordon (DOOM (2016), DOOM Eternal, Wolfenstein: The New Order). Get your first look at the unrestrained invention and abominable artifice that is Vashtorr the Arkifane:
Traveling to an isolated star system to check on reports of increased Chaos activity, playable characters Ultramarine Malum Caedo and Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath soon find themselves facing the wrath of Vashtorr the Arkifane. A demigod of immense power, Vashtorr awakens a vast daemonic machine at the centre of the planet, causing a catastrophic explosion and destroying much of the Imperial fleet. Now Malum and Nyra must race from world to world to cleanse the corruption powering Vashtorr’s daemonic machinations – and to stand a chance of banishing the demigod back to the Warp.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 continues where the original Boltgun left off, bringing unrepentant strafing action and increased variety of killer weapon selection to fans. Battle fan-favorite foes like the sassy plague-spreading Nurglings and Chaos Cultists, as well as all-new enemies. The ferocious Bloodletters and their bloodthirsty Juggernauts are just the beginning. Greater terrors await in the Emperor’s endless war.
