Ubisoft has announced Rayman Legends Retold, a new version of the acclaimed 2013 platformer developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan. The game will feature enhanced 3D visuals, a new story, fully voiced cinematics, and additional gameplay content.

The story follows Rayman, Globox, Barbara, Grand Minimus, and Murphy as they set out to restore peace to the Glade of Dreams, which is under threat from a mysterious villain. Players can experience the adventure solo or in local co-op with up to four players.

In addition to a selection of returning levels, Rayman Legends Retold introduces a new sixth realm, new boss battles, dragon-riding sequences, and four musical stages. Ubisoft has also reworked the Glade of Dreams with new character interactions and areas to explore.

“Rayman Legends Retold is our way of revisiting what makes Rayman so special, and re-telling that experience for a new generation of players,” said Brand Producer Loic Gounon. “We wanted to preserve everything fans love, and Legends gave us the perfect foundation to expand Rayman’s lore, its world logic, and how everything connects together.”

The game’s Kung Foot mode will return with updated controls, power-ups, and customizable rules. Players can also expect an expanded soundtrack featuring both returning tracks and new compositions from Christophe Héral and Grant Kirkhope.Rayman Legends Retold will be priced at $39.99 / €39.99 / ₹2799 . Players who pre-order any edition will receive the Hoodlum Havoc Pack, which includes costumes inspired by Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.

Ubisoft also confirmed that Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition will be included with the Standard, Deluxe, and Launch Editions. The enhanced version of the platformer will feature 4K resolution, 60 FPS support, additional collectibles, and quality-of-life improvements.
